Blast 43L Roller Backpack Review for Short Trips & Flights
Emma and Jake took the Blast 43L Roller bags for a whirl recently and this is what they discovered on their travels…
Emma says – The matching roller bag and computer bag combo proved incredibly practical on a range of recent short trips, from a country weekend over Easter to a relaxed beach holiday during the amazing stint of great weather during April .

Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, the roller bag flips open quickly and works brilliantly as a ‘live out of it’ travel bag, sometimes bags are annoying to hunt around for something. This bag allows you to see everything at a glance rather than constantly unpacking and repacking. Its compact size also makes it ideal for carry-on travel, easily fitting into the overhead compartment on flights. The matching computer bag is equally useful, offering plenty of room for tech, chargers and daily essentials, while pairing neatly with the roller for a polished, coordinated travel setup.

I love the colour (Oyster) but I can’t guarantee it will stay clean over the long term, darker colours may be more practical. I didn’t put heavy books or anything in the bags to test the roller wheels, but it was fine for weekend or short trip clothing. It’s a great gift idea for young or older travellers.

Jake says – This Blast 43L Roller Backpack bag was a winner. I took it on a golf trip to New Zealand, and it nailed the perfect balance – compact enough for overhead in the plane but roomy enough for a few days’ worth of golf clothes going out clothes. The roller bag was smooth to roll, and when I needed hands free, it flipped into a backpack, easy as. I packed shorts, jeans, tees, a jacket, even my laptop into it. The compartments on the bag were on point – passport, phone, they all had their place. Overall, it just made the trip easy. I am definitely planning to roll with it again.
The Verdict – Great for short trips, very versatile and easy for plane trips and stylish to look at.
